About the Role

Heli Technology is an early-stage digital products company that has recently entered the market with its products, funded by initial capital reserves and the profit from a mature brick-and-mortar business line. We are hiring an experienced Financial Director to build and lead a professional finance function with a focus on treasury, capital preservation, and multi-asset investment strategy. You will be a strategic partner to the executive team and Board, responsible for cash & liquidity management, investment policy design, robust financial planning, reporting, and compliance. Having solid experience handling multiple challenges in startup environments, strong analytical skills, persistence and follow-through, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. It’s also important that the candidate has prior work experience in tech companies

Requirements
What You’ll Do

• Own cash forecasting, treasury operations, and short-term liquidity management.
• Design and implement a corporate investment policy including asset allocation, risk limits, and liquidity rules.
• Manage the company’s multi-asset portfolio (selection, execution, monitoring, rebalancing).
• Lead annual planning, rolling budgeting, and scenario-driven cash runway analysis.
• Establish financial controls, internal policies, and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver management reporting and board-ready financial packages (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs).
• Oversee relationships with banks, custodians, brokers, auditors, and external advisors.
• Implement risk management frameworks covering market, credit, FX, operational, and regulatory risks.
• Support capital strategy, including preservation, working capital, and potential fundraising or investor relations.
• Build and manage a compact finance team and select finance systems / ERP tooling.

What You’ll Bring

• Deep technical competence in treasury, corporate finance, and investment management.
• Experience managing multi-asset portfolios and constructing asset allocation frameworks.
• Strong cash-flow modeling, scenario analysis, and financial forecasting skills.
• Knowledge of international financial markets, FX, fixed income, equities, crypto, and alternative instruments.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax basics, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with execution channels including banks, custodians, brokers, and basic derivatives for hedging.
• Excellent Excel / financial modeling and dashboarding skills; experience with FP&A tools.
• Proven leadership skills: recruitment, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
• High personal integrity, attention to detail, and process orientation.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication; strong cross-cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior finance roles; experience in early-stage / growth digital technology companies preferred.
• Prior responsibility for treasury and corporate investments at a company, family office, asset manager, VC firm, or private bank.
• CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Track record of building finance functions, selecting systems, and setting governance for growing companies.
• Experience liaising with investors, supporting fundraising, and presenting to boards.
• International markets experience and familiarity with crypto and multi-currency operations.
